Who is the data controller

Platinum AI Academy ("we", "us") is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use our website, courses, and services.

Personal data we collect

Account data — name, email address, hashed password, profile photo.
Learning data — programs enrolled in, lesson progress, quiz answers, assignments, certificates issued.
Payment data — order and subscription metadata (transaction IDs, plan, renewal dates). Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle; we never see or store full card numbers.
Support data — tickets, messages, and attachments you send us.
Usage data — logs, device and browser information, IP address, and pages visited.

How we use it

To deliver the courses and features you signed up for.
To process payments, prevent fraud, and issue receipts and invoices.
To respond to support requests.
To improve the platform (aggregated, anonymized analytics).
To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, course announcements).

Who we share it with

Paddle.com — our merchant of record. Paddle processes payments, handles tax, and issues invoices on our behalf. Paddle is the data controller for the payment data it collects.
Supabase — hosted database and authentication for account and learning data.
AI providers — for the AI tutor feature, your questions are sent to language model providers strictly to generate the response. We do not sell your data.
Legal recipients — where required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

Account and learning data are retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure so certificates remain verifiable. Payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact privacy@platinum-ai.academy to exercise these rights.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where transfers occur we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
